Synth-driven dark ambient downtempo bliss from one of my favorite artists. Ectenic Force has a deep space groove by way of Philip K. Dick, Killer is effectively cinematic in scope, and Manifestations has a decidedly cool retro-futura sound that definitely appeals. Title track Spirit Guide seems to bring all the best elements of earlier tracks forward and blends them all in an awesome way. and Visions closes out the whole thing with a dark and mysterious synth piece. Brilliant stuff!
